Desperate Housewives star denies coming-out rumors
By Mike Goodridge

After several days of media speculation that suggested that Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross was planning to come out as a lesbian in the pages of The Advocate, the actress's publicist has released a statement denying such a move.
"In response to the recent rumors about Marcia Cross, they are completely untrue," says a statement from Cross's publicist, Heidi Lopata Slan. "She is, however, very supportive of the gay and lesbian community."
Cross and her fellow Housewives were honored over the weekend when the show was awarded Best Comedy Ensemble at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
